A) 80

The distance from the sun to the planet Saturn is 1400 million kilometers or 1400*million km.
We know that light travels from the Sun at a rate of 300000 km/southward or 300000*60 = eighteen*million km/minute
Time = \(\frac{Altitude}{Speed}\) = \(\frac{1400 * 1000000}{eighteen * 1000000} = 77.8\)
Therefore, it takes approximately 80(Option A) minutes for calorie-free to travel from the Dominicus to planet Saturn.

Solution
Given:
• The sun is approximately 1,400 1000000 km from Saturn
• Light travels to Saturn at the charge per unit of approximately 300,000 km/sec
To observe:
• Approximately how many minutes does it accept for light to travel from the Sun to Saturn
Approach and Working:
In this question, the distance between the Sun and Saturn is provided, along with the speed of light
• Therefore, the time taken = \(\frac{distance}{speed}\) = \(\frac{{xiv * ten^8}}{{3 * x^5}}\)sec = \(\frac{{14 * 1000}}{{3 * 60}}\) minutes = 77 minutes approx
Hence, the correct reply is option A, every bit it is the closest selection.
Answer: A

A) 80
B) 130
C) 160
D) 280
East) 360
Time taken = (1400 * 10^6) / (300000) = 700/9 ~ 80
Hence A is the correct choice

Since 1 million = 10^vi, we can re-express the distance from the Sun to Saturn as 1,400 ten x^6 kilometers. We tin besides express the light's rate as 3 x ten^5. The fourth dimension to travel from the Sun to Saturn, in seconds, is:
(ane,400 10 10^six)/(3 x 10^five) = (1,400/three) x 10^i sec = xiv,000/3
In minutes, that is (14,000/3)/lx = 14,000/180 = 1400/18 = 700/9 ≈ lxxx.
Answer: A
